The Importance of Staying Late in a Company

If you're not a salaried employee and your boss asks you to stay late in America, that's probably good because you're going to make more money. From my experience, people usually don't hate the idea of staying for an extra 30 minute or even an hour or two in rare cases. What they hate usually is when you're asked to stay behind after working hours. And honestly, if that was the case, I would just very calmly say, wasted time to my leader and say, okay, I can work two extra hours but I'm going to put in my overtime payment application.
