The Rigidity of Polish Nationalism
Luxembourg was a lifelong committed internationalist. She hated Polish nationalism as it was this combination of being both too rigid and too flexible. Poland has to move through those stages which must be passed through before you finally get to the stage when revolution is possible, she said. That's the rigidity. And then it comes with too much pragmatism. We can have an addition of the communist manifesto that denies its essence, says Luxembourg.
