I've been walking around the paddock for the past two years as a reserve driver. I've probably grown up with almost 75% of the current drivers on the grid. So it just feels right, that's why somehow it doesn't feel like such a different environment. You can't expect from yourself to know those steering wheels inside out while you're driving five days in the whole year. Plus, you need to put your focus and emphasis in many other areas as well. But it's been a great experience to not only drive the cars, but to really get an inside look of how teams operate.
