Cardiothoracic Surgery - What's Your Mission?

There is a shortage of cardiothoracic surgeons in this country. And that should be causing alarm bells to go off everywhere, but it's just accepted. So I travel to places, you know, that are short on cardiac surgeons and I do that, as you said, sort of on a part time basis. But the hours are still long and they're still high demand for those services.I then run my telemedicine practice as well, where, like I said, I work one-on-one with people to help them prevent the need for heart surgery.
