Shared IP vs Shared ISP
MailChimp has a shared pool of IPs as well. And so what we essentially start doing is just gradually inserting those people's volume into the share pool. So if you have one bad actor or one set of emails that go out that then get blocked or picked up by the spam, then that shuts down everybody and that can impact everybody. Now in our shared pool, we actively manage and we have certain policies and practices in place to ensure that doesn't happen. But lots of customers still want the dedicated IP because it does give them that control of when they can spin up and spin down some of the volume and some of their activity.
