The Purpose of the Dungeon Master's Guide
"I try not to worry about what it should be," says Dungeon Master's Guide author. "Anytime I look at like, well, what should the movie be like? What should the plane scape be like?" He adds that he doesn't have this expectation of you should be doing X, Y, and Z. But one of the reasons why I'm pretty happy with the 2024 books is because I get to write a product for things that missed the mark."
