The New Covenant in the Catholic Form of Christianity

The word covenant is surprisingly little used and new covenant even less. In all of Jesus' sayings, we find only one instance when he uses it to describe a specifically liturgical act. So with these explicit liturgical terms, Jesus initiated the sacrificial offering that he would consummate on Calvary.
