Narvai's and the Spanish Expedition

The Spanish were in the area where the Mississippi River enters the Gulf of Mexico. The currents into the ocean are powerful here, and the Spanish struggled to keep their small boats from being forced out to sea. Kabeza Devaka said that Narvai's had the best boat. His men were the healthiest and most robust. But all of the men who were so weak they offered no resistance were killed by the Indians.
