The Difference Between a Frame and a Wedge

The difference is, like you said, it's intent, right? With a frame, normally you're using that to control the distance. And normally that means you're on the defense with a wedge. Normally you're either using that to inhibit your opponent's movement to pin them into position or to pry something open. But what you're doing is basically the same thing, right? Like you're using a solid structure to inhibits your opponent and then use it as an offensive weapon.
