The Importance of Hopelessness in Russia

People were trying to leave the big cities to go anywhere, anywhere else. The sense is that Russia is not a place where we want to have our children for the next 20, 30, 40 years. That's apparent in the exodus of smart young kids. None of the children whom my kids started school with are still in Moscow.None of them. None of them speak to each other. They're still in touch.
