The Origins of Kingship
The book is aimed at an audience that just doesn't know about these already existing debates. They discuss the origins of kingship a bit, which i think they do in not a too bad way. But what's interesting there is that if it's about play, you know as anybody who plays game knows, without some sort of quite strict constraint, games simply don't work. And this relates to their remarks about seasonality, right? That basic idea for schismo genesis. It seems as if they sort of assume, well done, we've deconstructed kingship. We've shown how it's all phony. I would say they're taking advantage of that.
