With emax, think the manufacturer and most conscientious providers doing appropriate bonding approaches with emax can be comfortable with ta minimum thickness of one millimeter. For other glass ramics, especially for these exilicates that don't have the fracture toughness of emax, that minimum thickness needs to be at least a millimeter and a half. And you're probably better at two millimeters, which is how we used to manage empress and other older glass ramis, like vita mark too. The the fudge factor is not there for these newer lithium base xilicates like there like there is for max.
