The Importance of Communicating With Yourself

I thought that maybe there was a bias against me and how I communicated. The moment I started working on my communication, I did get an offer to get promoted. A lot of people already have a great foundation of the soft skills but then what holds them back is their mindset. They don't believe in themselves as much because they think technical skills are not as good so why would I try to become a team lead?
