The Rise of Hip Hop Journalism
Kanye West emulates a lot of that same man's sphere quote unquote philosophy through a hip hop lens. All of this is happening as hip hop has gone from critiquing the establishment to kind of becoming the establishment, at least from like an industry perspective and like a business perspective. So I feel like unfortunately, we're just going to continue to see this dynamic of men espousing patriarchal views becoming the norm.
