Is There Anything You Can Do to Help You Diagnose VAP?

There are two things I wanted to just address really briefly about VAP diagnosis. One is that there is some confusion about the NHSN CDC criteria for VAP or what used to be called VAP and then what we use in clinical practice to diagnose VAP. For hospital performance reporting and infection prevention purposes, rates of VAP are of significant interest within ICUs and institutions as a whole.
