Wellington's Water Meter Debate

In 2020, the Wellington Water Committee received a report warning that demand for water in Wellington could outstrip supply by 2026. And it said an initial 10% reduction in demand was required over the following six years to offset population growth. But there's also another thing that kind of comes into this equation and that is water metres. So we're sort of coming back to the water metre debate. Nobody wants to be the politician who introduces water metres. What do you think about water metres?
