The Fi Effect and Frame Rate
The first time a movie was ever shot higher than the industry standard was Peter Jackson's Hobbit. Most movies nowadays are still in 24 or 30 frames per second. The Fi effect is when you bump the frame rate up and it's that realistic, your brain has to do like you're just looking through a window at live action happening.
