The Importance of Divine Will in the Islamic Philosophy

There is a precedent for not only a general notion of will, but even this Al-Ysti'ar language to conceptually use it in full alignment with emanation. In Ibn Gabbirul, he speaks of Ira'a, divine Ira'A, which is frequently translated as divine will. And there's no reason to think that any Jewish Neoplatonists cannot also speak in one breath of terms like divine Ira’a and speaking of creation.
