The fossil fuel companies, well, the whole world knew that global warming was really in 1990. But with science, you can't just look at the past and say this fits our model. You've then got to make projections for the future. And so in the early 1980s, they started making projections saying, this is what our models are saying. By 1990, enough of them had come through. They said, yeah, it's definitely real. It's caused by carbon dioxide. And the latest I heard just this morning was that unless we do something serious, which we can do, that we will lose the ice in the Arctic by 2050. We don't want to have that happen
