Is HIV Killing CD4 T Cells?

There isn't a master transcription factor or something that HIV is producing, like some viruses do. So I think the entire the old process of the the virus, attaching itself to the cell service membrane is sufficient enough to trigger the first relation of M2A intermediates. And so those intermediates or downstream pathways are what drive the the metabolic reprogramming in these cells. We haven't pieced altogether as yet, but we think that that's potentially one of the mechanisms.
