At one point, 16 pixels was 16 literal pixels on the screen. But we got all these high density displays and we had to kind of step away from thinking about individual pixels. So I still, I still use REM for most things because I can base it off of the body size. And if you didn't know, you could use points, points is like a print style, print style of defining sizes for things.
