The Ground Truth of Artificial Intelligence

The training set was created by scraping 14 million images from the internet and then asking crowd workers at amazon mechanical turk to label them. You see a woman wearing a nice cocktail frock listed as a slattern i met. It's externally horrifying, but this is what we are calling the ground truth of artificial intelligence. The problem is how we are training these systems to classify and interpret the world.
