Are There Generational Differences in the Work Force?

The average age of my team was 23 years old when i went on deployment. 80 % of them had never deployed before, and 50% had been in the navy for less than four years. It really bothered me to see the group of young people that i was working with being lumped into this category. They're not doing anything different than what generations before them have done. And they're all raising their own families...and it is ultimately self service.
