Social Media Companies Should Look to First Amendment Principles
Social media companies should look to first amendment principles, says CNN's John Berman. The government can't mandate that of a private company whether they could remove certain section 230 protections he adds. But the government could maybe require transparency on what it looks like yeah so it feels like the minimum would be to have transparency I mean one of the things that strikes me about this moment is both there does seem to have been some amount of shadow banning in the past.
