The History of the Indianapolis Flagship

There are several photographs of that 1936 cruise when FDR was aboard Andy. And he's on board, Andy, in one of his wheelchairs. It wasn't when Admiral Spunz came aboard, that wasn't the first time Indianapolis served as a Flagship. She served as a flagship for scouting fleet one in the late 1930s and served in that role until 1941.
