A Farmer's Poem
i'm always wary of e biographical stuff, just being stuck on to a poem as if it's a diary entry rather than a work of art. It is interesting to note that robert frost worked as a farmer and had a farm for nine years during which time he wrote a hell of a lot of poetry. And you can't help thinking, this is a guy whos staring at the stars. He's a bad farmer. Maybe a farmer who isn't really cot out to be a farmer. But i think that's an interesting point. I mean it's one of those rare occasions when biography has some sort of non intrusive insight to it.
