How to Increase Your Heart Rate for Running
You want to be consistent with that two to three times at least per week of running for 48 to 50 out of 52 weeks of the year. Sometimes a short 15 minute jog is all you can do, then go ahead and do that, it's way better than doing nothing. You don't increase your pace until you get your heart rate down to that sort of estimated zone 2 heart rate level that you can still run with decent form and feeling comfortable as well.
