The Rise and Fall of Silicon Valley
In the mid seventies in Silicon Valley, our driving force went like this: I'm going to create some really cool technology. And if I make a lot of money while I'm doing it, that's going to be cool. What I see today is people coming into technology saying 'I'm going to make a lots of money' The first way gets you good technology and money. The second way gets you money. That earlier version of Silicon Valley is proof that we can do it again. But don't please do not say there always will be because that isn't true. Okay. Fight this fight.
