How does beron and kenney define moderation? They say that, in general terms, a moderator is a qualitative or quantitative variable. For me, the term moderation carries with it more agency or deliberateness in its manipulation. So going back to your two by two example, do you think of that as interaction? Do you think about that as moderation, or do you think about it as both?"
