The jury deliberated for less than a day, and the verdict was guilty of first degree murder on all four counts. As the verdict was read, cody gave no reaction, seemingly oblivious to what they were saying. For each murder charge, cody was sentenced to life, without eligibility for parole until he had served 25 years of that sentence. However, each sentence would run concurrently. He should never be allowed to walk among us again.
