Feeding Your Chickens in the Garden

I make my own fertilizer using a plant called comfry oi. It grows really, really deep underground and has very nutrient rich leaves. I either throw it in the compost or dig it into the soil to break down like a slow release fertilizer. Or i put them in a five gallon bucket with chicken manure and put some rain water in there. And i literally let it brew for like two weeks till it's like gunkey brown ye and smells terrible.
