What Happened to Sulla?
Marius was elected consul for the fifth time. The cimbri were now pouring through noricum in the northern alps, probably amassing a nice war chest of the famous racum steel blades on their way to italy. Marius had heard that sulla was just shining in catalus, retinue, scoring victories, achieving feats. But instead of piping down and stepping out of the torchlight, sulla left and he went and joined catalus army.
