The Deaf Man and the Wrong Wives

The novel is about a woman who falls in love with a bad boy. She gives him all the wealth that she has compiled and acquired from her previous husbands. He reads her stories from a book of wicked wives, which essentially is constantly telling her just how wicked women are. And then in the end, she rebels against this and tears a leaf out of the book.
