Germany's Foreign Trade Deficit Is Almost Unheard Of
Germany posted their first foreign trade deficit since 19 91. They have this emergency gas plan, which they announced in march. And the goal here is to kind of build up their gas supplies so that they can go into storage. Duseldorf has closed a massive swimming complex because it requires heating. Berlin has essentially turned down the thermistat on lots of open air swimming pools. In cologne, they've dimmed their street lighting.
