Is There a Shift in Diversity in Universities?

The far left in universities used to make up about four to five percent of the faculty. Now it's like 12 to 15% will openly identify as that, and that's only happened in the last 15 to 20 years. The most pernicious outgrowth of this has manifested is those statements that you have to make when you apply for a job in the academy. If you say yes, I'm absolutely in favor of diversity, therefore my right-leaning political positions should receive an equal hearing, that's a dude who does not get called for an interview.
