COVID XBB 1.5 - What's the Context?
Almost all the COVID activities are decreasing across almost the entire country. Five states and the District of Columbia are experiencing increases in reported cases. The most recent monitoring data from the CDC shows XBV 1.5 accounts for nearly half of new cases in the US. This seems to be a different trend than we've seen with other variants, which have spread more slowly.
