I would like the people working on this issue is outside commentators to just stay it outright that they favor the First Amendment. There's a lot of constitutional protections against unreasonable search and seizure of your property. So, you know, I'm willing to say I think the United States Constitution has proven more robust than the rationalistic arguments you see in less wrong blog posts.
