The rationality community was founded in 2006 and affiliated with Oxford's Future of Humanity Institute. The whole notion is that through this kind of reduced reductive rationalism, you could call it scientism,. But they were worried about some things is that our reason could develop something beyond our capacity to control. They're more afraid of us being made in the image of God than the AI tech we create.
