Afghanistan's Politics and Culture in the Past 300 Years

The soviet afghan war is a complicated, nuance and undercovered historical event. I don't think this needs to be reflected as something that's inherently part of our culture. We've been responsible for our problems, as well as being praed to just the geo political location of where we are in between big empires throughout these past 300 years. That past 300 years have pretty much been instable, turbulent and violent. Is that reflection of our people to some degree? But it's not because of inherent, ah, something inherently present in afghans.
