Successful investing isn't about i c, is about character. Ben graham used that term in his book 'The intelligent investor' I think believe his the verbatim language is it is a matter more of character than brain. And you have to be independent and sceptical. You have to be disciplined. Probably the most valuable of all those attributes is self control. emotional discipline is the single hardest thing about the investing game. Just ice, it's the hardest thing about life.
In this episode of Infinite Loops we spoke with Jason Zweig of The Wall Street Journal, where he writes his famous The Intelligent Investor column. Jason is also the author of Your Money and Your Brain, and the editor of the revised edition of Benjamin Graham''s The Intelligent Investor. In this discussion we cover:
- The power of writing to learn.
- Why humans never learn from their mistakes.
- Jason’s path into markets out of college.
- The lessons we can learn from the past.
- And much more
