Preliminary auction clearance rates have risen for the third week in a row. The national clearance rate over the last week was 61 and a half %, two per centage points up from a week earlier. It's the first time since june that the rate has actually reached 60%. These are all good signs, though no one is calling the housing slump over just yet.
