We Are Waiting for the Revealing of Our Lord, Jesus Christ

As we approach christmas, we can use this time of celebrating his birth much like a first century believer would havean ating the messiah's arrival. Can you imagine that you and i are going to stand before god one day guiltless because of what jesus has done for us? And verse nine reminds us, god is faithful by whom you were called into the fellowship of his son, jesus christ, our lord. We wait for that revealing so the whole world will know, as scripture says, every eye will see and every tongue will confess, that jesus is lord of all.
