Orwell's Orwellism Is a Declinist

Orwell says that the decline of a language must ultimately have political and economic causes. The same argument was put against webster's third, he often seems to be blaming the words rather than the writing. He also thinks that if we all just kind of steal ourselves, we can change this. We can stem the flow of bad language.
