Goal Setting Theory

Goal setting theory states that there are four key mechanisms for completing goals. These levers are focus, effort, persistence and strategy. The more difficult the goal is, the more effort we're going to have to put in. But it doesn't always matter how hard we try at something or how long we stick with it,. if we're not doing the right things. That's where or fourth lever comes in, and that's our strategy.
