One year on from taliban takeover last august, the world witnessed chaotic scenes at cabul airport as us Forces withdrew. Many families had to sell their children in order to save other children in afganistan last winter. People there are living under a brutally enforced and savagely rigid taliban ideology. They're forced to contend with near total economic collapse of their country and chronic food shortages. And they're strong evidence to suggest that afghanistan is once again a safe haven for alcada.
