Matt Mellon's Rideshare Experience

Dalton Mellon was driving an Uber to a friend's house in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 20th of 2016. During the ride his driver received a call via Bluetooth earpiece and as soon as he hung up Dalton began driving erratically. Matt asked the driver to slow down, but his pleas were ignored and the terror quickly escalated until Matt was begging the man to stop and let him out. At 5.42 p.m., 25-year-old Tiana Carothers was walking near the Richland Township apartment complex, when a silver equinox aggressively pulled up next to her. The woman said he called out to her, using a name she didn't recognize
