Before Y Labs, I was a field engineer. Field engineer means you work for a vendor and that vendor's product is so technical that a salesperson by themselves can't sell it. So anything that requires both a technical understanding and a business understanding is basically what I do now. The very short answer is that my role is primarily focused on doing very similar to what I was doing before, but not as extensively customer oriented.
