The first epiphany, or the main one, was I went to this little club in Dallas called the Ruby Yacht. There was a guy named Donnie Brooks, who was a harmonica player from Dallas And when I heard him play, it just blew me away He ended up going on to play with Waylon and Charlie McCoy. So he kind of set the bar anyway for a harmonica with country music. It's like draw a hole number one, blow two three, draw three four. That's the basics for everything I play Yeah "I would go to concerts and bring my harmonica with me"
