The only template is that i like certain like the vocals always comes up on channel 24, which is the center of the consul right? Backing vocals are really either just to the left or to the right of that. And then if there's any strings and horns and things like that, they go away down there on the right. I think most mixers probably do pretty much the same thing, i would think. Plus a color coat everything. Guitars are blue, keyboards are green, drums are black.
