Are We Going Down This Road of Debate?

i would try to disentangle the centre from the left. I always vewed jimmy carter as one of the most progressive, benign kind of presidents. But he himself, i think, is largely responsible for kicking off new liberalism. A term i use often in politics is satisficing - you make trade offs and settle for a sub optimal outcome. It's a good systemic critique, but i don't want to validate it as as a method, right?
